Collapse and Recovery-the 35W Bridge Poster Project

In response to the 35W Bridge collapse tragedy, AIGA Minnesota is orchestrating a poster project. We are asking members to design a poster that reflects some aspect of the 35W Bridge collapse—the shock of the event itself, the heroism of the survivors and rescue workers, or the importance of disaster preparedness. On November 8, 2007, a full-sized mounted print of each poster will be exhibited during AIGA Minnesota’s monthly Cocktails with Creatives at Spill The Wine, located on 11th Street and Washington Avenue, just blocks from the bridge collapse site. Each one-of-a-kind poster will be on sale through silent auction, and all proceeds will benefit the Minnesota Helps—Bridge Disaster Fund™.

How to enter [you must be an AIGA member]
To contribute a poster, please complete the attached form (found in below website) and email your poster file to AIGA_35WPosters@mac.com. Posters should be no larger than 24" x 36" at 300dpi, and entries are limited to two per member. You must be an AIGA member to contribute a poster. All entries are due by Monday, October 29, 2007. Posters will be printed and mounted by Skyline Exhibits in time for the November 8, 2007, exhibition.
